Objectives
The Atlántida Chamber Orchestra announces the first edition of the Atlántida Concerto Competition, a contest aimed at supporting and promoting emerging young musical talent.
The winners of the competition will be invited to perform as soloists with the prestigious orchestra on April 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid.

Participants
Young musicians of any instrumental specialty, including voice, from any instrumental family (strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, guitar, percussion, accordion, and voice) may participate.

Categories
The competition is divided into three categories:

Junior Category: up to and including 12 years old (as of the registration deadline)

Youth Category: up to and including 16 years old (as of the registration deadline)

Concert Artist Category: up to and including 27 years old (as of the registration deadline)

Registration Deadline: January 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM

Prizes

Junior Category: Certificate of participation, a gift of CDs and sheet music, and a performance as a soloist in the Winners’ Concert and Award Gala on April 19, 2026, in the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid.

Youth Category: €250 in cash, certificate of participation, a gift of CDs and sheet music, and a performance as a soloist in the Winners’ Concert and Award Gala on April 19, 2026, in the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid.

Concert Artist Category: €600 in cash, certificate of participation, a gift of CDs and sheet music, and a performance as a soloist in the Winners’ Concert and Award Gala on April 19, 2026, in the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid.
